Eugene Henry

Eugene Henry serves as Chief Operating Officer at TATCS, where he leads the company’s enterprise IT strategy and program execution. With over 40 years of combined experience in the Department of War and private sector, he brings extensive expertise in IT leadership, major weapon systems acquisition, and advanced analytics in support of mission-critical initiatives.

Before assuming senior private sector roles, Mr. Henry retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel.  Notably, he served as Chief Information Officer for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). In that role, he led the implementation of AFRL’s first-ever Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Network, a secure, globally connected platform that continues to enable scientific collaboration and innovation today.​

Mr. Henry is recognized for his strengths in strategic IT planning, requirements development, and program execution. He is also a dedicated mentor and advisor, committed to fostering technical and leadership growth within TATCS and throughout the industry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Angelo State University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Engineering. He also holds DoD Acquisition Level III certifications in Program Management; Test & Evaluation; and Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering.
